Terms of Service
Last updated: May 21, 2026 · Effective immediately
TL;DR
- weeklyescapes is a search and booking aggregator. We help you find places. We don't own the hotels and we are not your travel agent.
- For hotel bookings, Nuitee/LiteAPI is the merchant of record. They handle payment, cancellation, and refunds.
- We earn affiliate commissions. We disclose them on every booking link.
- We don't do skiplagging or hidden-city ticketing, ever.
- Don't scrape us, abuse the service, or use it to harass others.
- If something goes wrong with a third-party booking, we'll help where we can but the contract is between you and the booking partner.
1. Who we are
weeklyescapes.com is operated by NFLO Marketing LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("weeklyescapes," "we," "us"). When you use the site or any related service, you ("you," "user") agree to these Terms.
2. What we provide
weeklyescapes is an extended-stay search and booking aggregator focused on stays of 7+ nights. We aggregate hotel and apartment inventory from travel suppliers (primarily Nuitee/LiteAPI), flight prices from search providers (Travelpayouts, fast-flights), and content for relevant travel destinations.
We are not:
- A licensed travel agency.
- The owner or operator of any property listed on the site.
- The merchant of record for hotel transactions (that's Nuitee/LiteAPI).
- The seller of flights (we link to third-party booking sites).
- A travel insurance provider.
3. Hotel bookings: Nuitee/LiteAPI is merchant of record
When you book a hotel or apartment through weeklyescapes, the booking is processed by Nuitee S.à r.l. ("Nuitee," operating as LiteAPI), a Luxembourg-based travel infrastructure provider. Nuitee is the merchant of record for the transaction.
This means:
- Your card is charged by Nuitee, not by weeklyescapes.
- The legal contract for your stay is between you, Nuitee, and the property.
- Cancellations, refunds, and changes are handled by Nuitee per the cancellation policy on each rate.
- Nuitee provides customer support for booking issues, accessible via the booking confirmation email.
- Payment processing is via Stripe Elements embedded on our site through Nuitee's User Payment SDK; we never see your card details.
We can help you contact Nuitee or the property if needed, but ultimate responsibility for payment, refund, and stay quality sits with Nuitee and the property, not with weeklyescapes.
4. Flight links go to third parties
Flight prices on our site are pulled from public search APIs (currently fast-flights, with Travelpayouts as fallback). When you click a flight, you are redirected to a third-party booking site (typically Aviasales or another Travelpayouts partner) where the actual booking happens. weeklyescapes does not sell flights. The contract is between you and the third-party booking site.
We earn an affiliate commission when you book a flight through these links. We disclose this.
5. Affiliate disclosures (FTC compliance)
Some links on weeklyescapes are affiliate links. When you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this on every result so you know exactly what we earn and where.
Current affiliate relationships: Nuitee/LiteAPI (hotel bookings, 3% on member rate / ~13% on public rate, both disclosed per result), Travelpayouts and Aviasales (flight bookings), Coliving.com (long-stay redirects, 50% rev share). We update this list as it changes.
We do not rank results by commission rate. We rank by user value (price, fit, reviews). Our affiliate commission disclosure is shown alongside the price on every result.
6. Pricing accuracy
Prices shown on weeklyescapes are pulled live from supplier APIs and reflect what's available at the moment of search. They can change between search and booking due to supplier-side availability, currency fluctuations, or supplier price updates. We make a good-faith effort to show accurate pricing; we cannot guarantee a price will be available at booking time if there's been a change.
Comparison prices labeled "Booking.com" or similar reflect the supplier's published retail rate at the time of search, which may differ from the price actually shown on Booking.com if Booking has run a flash deal we don't have access to. The "Compare on Booking.com" button on every result lets you verify pricing yourself.
7. AI-generated content
Some content on the site (city guides in particular, when they exist) may be drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human before publication. AI-generated content can occasionally contain inaccuracies. We make a good-faith effort to verify facts, but we cannot guarantee that every venue listed is currently open or that every visa rule reflects the latest update from the issuing government.
Always verify time-sensitive information (visa rules, restaurant hours, transit schedules) with the original source before acting on it.
8. No skiplagging, no hidden city
We do not surface, recommend, or facilitate hidden-city ticketing ("skiplagging") in any form. Hidden-city ticketing violates most airline contracts of carriage and can result in your ticket being voided, your bags being lost, and your frequent-flyer account being penalized. American Airlines won a $9.4M judgment against Skiplagged in October 2024 for related practices. We stay clear of this category entirely.
9. User accounts
You may use the site without an account. If you create one, our auth provider Clerk handles sign-in, password reset, and session management on our behalf. You agree to:
- Provide an accurate email and not impersonate someone else.
- Keep your sign-in credentials confidential.
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Not create accounts for the purpose of scraping, automating searches, or abusing the service.
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice unless the violation is severe or ongoing.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape the site or our APIs without prior written permission.
- Use the site to send spam, harass others, or facilitate illegal activity.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what's publicly visible.
- Use the site to commit fraud (booking with stolen cards, false identities, etc.).
- Run automated scripts, bots, or load tests without prior agreement.
- Bypass any rate limits, authentication, or paid-tier gating.
11. Intellectual property
The site design, brand, original written content (manifesto, decisions log excerpts, city guides written by us), and underlying source code are owned by NFLO Marketing LLC. The manifesto, public decisions excerpts, and research excerpts may be quoted with attribution. Bulk republication or commercial use requires permission.
Hotel and property descriptions, photos, and amenity lists are licensed from Nuitee/LiteAPI or supplied by individual properties. We display them under our agreement with Nuitee.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We make a good-faith effort to keep it working but we don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every result will be accurate at every moment. Specifically, we do not warrant:
- The accuracy of every price (live data can change between search and booking).
- The accuracy of AI-drafted content (verify time-sensitive facts).
- The reliability of third-party booking sites we redirect to.
- That every hotel will honor every reservation (rare cases of overbooking exist industry-wide).
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, weeklyescapes' total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the site is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us directly in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
We are specifically not liable for:
- Disputes between you and Nuitee or any property (refunds, no-shows, room quality).
- Disputes between you and a third-party booking site we link to.
- Travel disruptions outside our control (airline cancellations, natural disasters, visa denials).
- Decisions you make based on AI-drafted content that turns out to be inaccurate.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NFLO Marketing LLC, its members, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where local law of your jurisdiction grants you stronger consumer protection rights, in which case those rights apply.
Before filing a formal claim, please email legal@weeklyescapes.com with a description of the issue. We try to resolve issues directly first.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we do:
- The "Last updated" date at the top will change.
- We'll post a note on our public decisions page describing what changed and why.
- For material changes (significant new restrictions, new fees, etc.), we'll email account holders directly at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
Your continued use of the site after a Terms update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can email privacy@weeklyescapes.com to delete your account.
17. Contact
Email us at hello@weeklyescapes.com for general questions, legal@weeklyescapes.com for legal questions, or privacy@weeklyescapes.com for privacy questions.
We aim for plain language over legal jargon. If something here is unclear, email us and we'll try to make it clearer in the next revision. The goal is for you to actually read this, not scroll past it.
